What is this website?
Siriniwasa.com is a property classifieds marketplace for Sri Lanka. Buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants can post and browse ads for houses, land, apartments, commercial property and more, across every district.
Are advertisements free?
Yes. Posting a standard advertisement is free. Optional premium placement (Urgent, Featured or Highlighted) is available for more visibility.
Why do you ask for my mobile number?
Your mobile number lets genuine buyers reach you, and it is shown on your ads. Please make sure it is correct.
How long does approval take?
Every advertisement is reviewed by our team before it goes live. You will receive an email as soon as your ad is approved, or a reason in My Ads if it needs changes.
Can I edit my advertisement after it is published?
Yes. Log in, open My Ads from your dashboard, and edit the ad. Edited ads are reviewed again before the updated version goes live.
Can I withdraw an ad that is waiting for approval?
Yes. In My Ads, ads that are pending review or rejected have a Withdraw button. A withdrawn ad leaves the review queue; you can edit and resubmit it later, or delete it.
What are premium listings?
Premium listings (Urgent, Featured or Highlighted) get special places in search results and carry a badge. Request an upgrade for an active ad from My Ads; our team confirms payment and activates the plan.
Why was my ad rejected?
Ads are usually rejected for inaccurate or misleading details, prohibited content, duplicate postings, or unrelated photos. You will see the reason in My Ads and can edit and resubmit.
How can I report an ad?
Open the advertisement and click Report advertisement. Send us the Ad ID and what is wrong, and our moderation team will review it.
I forgot my password. Can I reset it?
Yes. On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your registered email. We will email you a link to choose a new password.
